May Jesus be praised.

 I Just discoverd the Christian Rock group dc Talk. Although the three members:Toby Mac, Michael Tait and Kevin Max are now presuing individual careers and doing great music I prefer the group. I espescially like their song "Jesus Freak" (with it's profound lyrics) and bought (used on Amazon) their CD of the same title. You can see music videos of the group on YouTube. They really are impressive. Of course, being a child of the late sixties and early seventies I like their Rock style! Many of their songs have a powerful message encouraging total dedicated to their Best Friend: Jesus!  But their love and commitment to Jesus is what is most impressive. I only wish I had discovered them sooner.

I think of blogs as I kind of journal. Last night I was reading, again, "The Long Lonliness" by Dorothy Day the foundress of the "Catholic Worker" whose ideal and newspaper have has a great influence on my life. I met Miss Day briefly at the Eucharisitic Congress in Philadelphia (a few minutes later I met Blessed Teresa of Calcutta) and now the Archdiocese of New York is working on Dorothy Day's cause for beatification. Anyway today is November 7th and as I read last night Dorothy was born on November 8th. (In 1997) I will read more of this book tomorrow and pray to her. I will remember all of you.
